Paul J. Meyaart
Paul Meyaart’s background comprises some 40 years of financial and operational management experience. He has served as CFO, Vice President Finance and Administration, Treasurer, and Controller in a variety of consumer oriented companies with sales ranging from $75 million to $1 billion. He joined Brincko Group in 1990.
As part of Brincko Group, Mr. Meyaart served as Managing Director of 10 European subsidiaries of CalComp Technology Europe, which is part of a publicly traded subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation. He handled the sale of these operations and their ultimate liquidation and windup. Previous to this, he served as bankruptcy claims agent and consultant for Sun World International, a leading agricultural company in California. As well, Mr. Meyaart served as CFO of Globe Security Systems (Sahlen & Associates), a leading security services company under Chapter 11 protection in Florida, where he handled the sale of the company and the bankruptcy claims distributions. He also developed a strategic acquisition plan for Strouds, a specialty bed and bath retailer.
Prior to joining Brincko Group, Mr. Meyaart served as Vice President Finance and Treasurer of a major household products division of American Home Products and CFO of The American Distilling Co., a NYSE-listed company. In addition, he held senior financial and operational positions with CBS/FOX and Knoll International.
Mr. Meyaart was educated in Belgium, in addition to receiving an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is fluent in Dutch and French, and possesses an excellent working knowledge of several other languages.
