Dennis R. Brink is a senior financial and operations executive with an in-depth background in Fortune 500 and multinational companies, from capital to consumer products and services. His experience has included financial reengineering, acquisitions and divestitures, and several years as managing consultant in business turnarounds, restructurings, refinancings, bankruptcies, and strategic growth environments in the U.S., Europe, North Africa, Japan, Mexico, and Canada.
Mr. Brink’s consulting spans a period of over 15 years to include clients ranging from $10 million to over $800 million. His particular skills include operations management, strategic planning, merger integration, cost reduction and containment, financial systems design, forensic accounting, and banking negotiations. Mr. Brink’s industry experience includes electronics, equipment manufacturing, general construction, garment, hospital furniture, medical healthcare products, software development, snack food packaging and distribution, direct mail and order fulfillment, and transportation and logistics.
Clients have included Koehring Construction Equipment division during its spinoff and successful bidding of a $200 million/five-year contract with TACOM (U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command), Peck Jones, Inc., a general contractor, during its reconstruction of the Beverly Hills Hotel, Barco of California, a designer and distributor of uniforms, taking the lead during its turnaround, LH Research, Inc., a manufacturer of integrated power supply units, completing its turnaround, sale and resolution of employee 401(k) plan, WorldPoint Logistics, Inc. and Expedited Delivery Services, completing the asset sale of the trucking subsidiary and the liquidation of residual assets and resolution of liabilities as well as leading the financial turnaround of the parent company.
Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Brink held several executive positions at Rockford Corporation, Fairchild Corporation, and Rexnord Holdings, Inc.
Mr. Brink holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin in Finance and Accounting and an MBA from the University of Dayton in General Management. He also completed a Senior Management Program at the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He has been a member of Financial Executives International since 1983 and a member of the board of directors of two private companies.
